HorseCity

Everyone took to the opportunity to wake up late this morning since its a Sunday. Without plans of where to go, Mummy and Daddy finally decided to have our late breakfast at somewhere less crowded and cozy.
.
Was it IMM, Jurong Point or MacDonalds'? Nah, how about this place called Horse City?
.
Mummy remember about this 'Horse City' in the papers. It's just located next to Turf City in Turf Club Road at Bukit Timah. Worth $2.5 million of venture, it started operations in September 2007 developed by Blue Dolphin Gallery, which also owns a pony-riding centre called Gallop Stable in Pasir Ris Park.
.
.
We understand that HorseCity not only offers just horse-riding lessons, but also a place for people to 'adopt' horses. The 10ha facility will have 40 to 60 horses of its own but can also accommodate at least 90 other privately owned horses whose owners will pay fees to board them there. This riding centre will not charge membership fees, which will make riding more affordable. Hmmmm......sounds good for another Daddy hobby eh? Rearing horses!!!
.
.
We quickly got ourselves seated at this bistro called Picotin for breakfast - A family-style European Bistro, bar and a gourmet shop that serves wholesome, appetising and uncomplicated European cuisine 7 days a week managed by award winning chef and co-owner, Emmanuel Stroobant together with talented and formidable food & beverage personalities; Sebastien Reullier and Jacky Stevens.
.
We ordered a good wholesome 'brunch' spread of healthy cornflakes with milk coupled with bread, french toast, apple juice and coffee.
.
.
After a hearty meal, we took a stroll around the vicinity and found a mini pony holding area. Dear son immediately asked for Daddy to buy some feed for him to feed the ponies. Apparently he is not afraid to touch the ponies.
.
After dear son is done with his ponies feed, we decided to head for home sweet home as it's approaching noon-time. Daddy promises to bring Kiet back again soon for a pony ride! Yay!
