Toys Toys Toys!!!!

Yet another eventful weekday had passed and we're into the weekend again!

It all seemed that we had just recuperated from our last weekend haven't we? Ooh, time just passes too fast these days and we barely have time to catch our breaths.

.

With Saturday all ours, we can't simply let our day go to waste can we? Since it was raining earlier in the morning, outdoor activity is then a "No No". Mummy hence decided to check out The Toy Rental Club located at Pasir Panjang road, a toy rental cum indoor play concept store.

Dear son was drawn to the slide and ball pit immediately when we entered the place. In fact, since it's his first time exposed to so many toys at a go, he actually went ga-ga over all the toys that he could lay his hands on! His expressions tell us all.

.

There, while our boy was kept busy with toys, the parents sat themselves cosy at the sofas with a nice fresh cup of brew. Bring in those Saturday papers please!

With that setting, our child was occupied for almost 3 hours while the parents read to their heartiest. We headed for home (satisfied) after that to let dear son catch his afternoon nap and the parents can settle for their munch.

Later into the evening after we're done with dinner, we went to top up some groceries at NTUC. We met our lovely neighbours on our way home and both families decided on an impromptu activity - Light up the lanterns for the children and eat moon-cake!

Haa.......we did all that right outside our corridor! It's so fun fun fun.......the children were enjoying each others' company, amused by their paper lanterns while the mummies were snapping and snapping pictures away. The Daddies? Oh well, holding on to their Irish beer thrown in with moon-cakes.

It's so lovely & meaningful to spend the evening hanging around the neighbourhood. Hee......sitting outside the corridor, enjoying the companionship of our neighbour and the kids' pure innocence. Life is simply great......simply.
