Relax on Saturday

Mummy woke up and quickly got down to settling the basic household chores before everyone departed home for breakfast. It was rare that Daddy did not have to work on this Saturday hence the day is precious to all of us.
.
We had our tummies filled at Provence Holland, finished with nice cuppa of freshly brewed coffee.
.
.
Not long, we arrived at Mr Chua's place and headed downstairs for a late morning dip. Haa.....
.
.
When we returned to Mr Chua's place, Daddy gave dear son a quick shower. We served lunch to the boys and after they finished their meals, started their playtime among themselves. The adults? We enjoyed our chat over lunch.
.

.
After a while, the boys were tired of their games and started making the mummies 'busy'. Ms Wong hence decided to steam some cakes for all of us for tea break!
.
.
We got the boys involved in the process; asking them to simply add toppings to the batter before sending the cupcakes into the steamer.
.
We had the lovely steamed cakes shortly over a nice cup of tea.
.
After tea time, we sent the 2 boys to their late afternoon nap since the adults had decided to go out later in the evening to watch the lion dance competition at Ngee Ann City.
.
We all took dinner before departing the house. The competition is an annual event hence it would be a great pity if we missed the live action!
.

.
We managed to watch the performance for about 30 mins and the rain started pouring. We took hiatus at Takashimaya departmental store but the rain did not stop. It was then we decided to find coffee break and finally settled down at Toast Box for bread and coffee.
.
Without much choice since it was still raining when we left the coffee place, we call the day off and left for home. It was really a wonderful family day. Simple yet heart-warming - the togetherness.
