Mistress ANG happened to chance upon the tentage set up in the embassy premises while travelling on the bus to her office yesterday. A colourful banner was found hung at the entrance reading "8th Thai Festival".

Marking the 8th time this year, similar to their past event, visitors to the festival get to purchase food and services authentic to the Thais.

From the site plan layout, besides food and stage performances, participants like Unilever, Singtel and some airlines are involved. One may suspect some special offers rolling out on the Festival days.

So say if you're working along or nearby Orchard Road or free after working hours, or nothing to do after working hours, do drop by the festival for some authentic Thai FOOD and FOOT treats!
